Job Summary
Performs general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds and buildings. Requires one year of maintenance experience and holds Fireman Boiler Operator certificate and Boiler Operator License; must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license; additional certifications such as Pool Operator and Refrigeration Engineer may be required. Works within the plant operation department with CUPE affiliation, and operates under pay band 11.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial)
- Fireman Boiler Operator certificate
- Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Pool Operator certificate (where required)
- Refrigeration Engineer certificate (where required by the job)
