Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds, and buildings. Maintain operations at the Whitewood Community Health Centre by addressing issues across plant, mechanical, and structural areas. Requires valid Class 5 driver's license, Boiler Operator certificate, and ability to work independently in rotating day, night, and weekend shifts. Includes travel requirements and standard 8-hour rotations within Pay Band 11.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial)
- Fireman Boiler Operator certificate
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
- Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required
- Pool Operator certificate, where required
- Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of tools and equipment
- Travel Required: Yes
