Job Summary
Performs general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds and buildings at Maidstone Health Complex. Requires one year of maintenance experience and possession of multiple operator certificates (Fireman Boiler Operator, Boiler Operator license, Refrigeration Plant Operator, Pool Operator, Refrigeration Engineer as required). Works part-time with days, weekends, and standby shifts (7 shifts of 8 hours over 3 weeks). Strong knowledge of tools/equipment, ability to work independently, and good communication and basic computer skills expected.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial)
- Fireman Boiler Operator certificate
- Boiler Operator license
- Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required
- Pool Operator certificate, where required
- Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job
- Possession of Valid Class 5 driver's license
