Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs for facility plant systems, equipment, grounds, and buildings at Evergreen Health Centre in Leoville. Maintain knowledge of tools and equipment while working independently to support plant operations. Requires one year of maintenance experience, a valid Class 5 driver's license, and a Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to the Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act. Additional certificates for refrigeration, pool, or refrigeration engineering may be required. Pay Band 11 offers a salary range of $22,600 to $24,210. No guaranteed hours are provided.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial)
- Fireman Boiler Operator certificate
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
- Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required
- Pool Operator certificate, where required
- Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job
- Communication skills
- Basic - Computer skills
