Job Summary
Maintenance Service Technician at Arlington Properties responsible for prepping vacant apartments to market-ready condition, handling work orders with urgency, performing general maintenance (light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, appliance repair), maintaining grounds and common areas, supporting preventative maintenance and inspections, assisting with snow removal and pool upkeep, and remaining on-call for emergency maintenance. The role emphasizes hands-on work, teamwork, safety, and delivering quality service to residents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
- Proficiency in at least one major trade area
- EPA certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
- Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members
- Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts
