Job Summary
Maintenance Service Technician at Arlington Properties to prep apartments for market, handle work orders with skill and urgency, and perform general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair). Includes keeping grounds and common areas inviting, supporting preventative maintenance and inspections, assisting with snow removal, pool upkeep, seasonal tasks, and being on-call for emergencies. Requires hands-on problem solving, ability to work safely and independently, and strong communication with residents and team members; EPA certification preferred and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
- Proficiency in at least one major trade area
- EPA certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
- Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members
- Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts
