Job Summary
Maintenance Service Technician at Arlington Properties; perform prep of vacant apartments, handle work orders, general maintenance (light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, appliance repair), keep grounds/common areas inviting, support preventative maintenance and inspections, assist with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks; stay on-call for emergencies; must have hands-on maintenance experience and be able to lift up to 100 lbs with a valid driver’s license, strong communication, and flexible scheduling including weekends; EPA certification preferred, HS diploma required, 1–5 years of experience, and proficiency in at least one major trade area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
- Proficiency in at least one major trade area
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
- Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts
