Job Summary
Conduct facility inspections to identify and resolve issues, checking electrical and hydraulic systems for functionality. Plan, oversee, and allocate workload for all repair and installation activities while supervising upkeep staff. Monitor equipment inventory, place orders, track expenses, and control the maintenance budget. Manage relationships with contractors, keep detailed logs, and report daily activities to ensure OSHA compliance. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in planning maintenance operations and technical knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM)
Desired Qualifications
- Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
