Job Summary

Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for highly complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on facility and production equipment; lead preventive/predictive maintenance, respond to emergency breakdowns, perform regular facility inspections, and mentor junior technicians. Growth path includes shadowing management on budgets, vendor bids, and facility planning, with training in CMMS usage and reliability metrics. Requires strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing systems, OSHA and LOTO compliance, and the ability to manage shift work and safety initiatives in a non-remote, SW Austin, TX environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or commercial setting
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A 2-year technical degree or certifications (e.g., HVAC EPA Universal, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional - CMRP) highly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals and schematics
  • Computer proficiency; CMMS and Microsoft Office tools preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
