Job Summary

Build, repair, and install facility fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, windows, doors, and partitions. Oversee daily inspection and maintenance of all amusement rides and simulators. Assist with floor moves, display building, and miscellaneous retail floor duties. Supervise outside service companies and vendors for escalators, elevators, HVAC, boilers, generators, and landscaping. Establish scope of work, negotiate yearly contracts, and follow through on warranty work. Manage maintenance within approved budgets while implementing cost-saving measures. Perform tasks requiring heavy lifting, bending, and climbing while adhering to strict safety procedures.

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondences and memos
  • Ability to give directions and provide guidance to the maintenance team
  • Ability to make decisions and exhibit sound judgment while practicing utmost safety working ethics
  • Ability to perform basic math; probability and statistical inference, geometry and trigonometry; compute rate, ratio and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small groups to customers, clients and other employees
