Job Summary
Execute the planning and scheduling process for maintenance operations, generating inspection plans, preventative maintenance, and corrective work orders. Assemble work schedules balancing equipment needs, availability, labor demands, and resource constraints while communicating with technicians, Operations Management, and customers. Collaborate with Directors of Operations, Service Managers, and Supply Chain to optimize scheduled work and comply with prioritization processes across engineering, quality, and safety stakeholders. Perform basic data analysis on Field Service, SCADA, and IoT information to plan maintenance and identify improvement opportunities. Support site technical issues, participate in problem-solving activities, and contribute to preventive maintenance development and continuous improvement initiatives. Work day shift Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, with options for remote or on-site roles in Newport Beach, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 3 years of related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Maintenance Planning, Operations, Customer Service or Inside Sales experience
- Possess sophisticated, professional oral and written communication ability
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of e-mail/scheduling software applications
- Experience with ERP software, such as Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Epicor or SAP
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Perform basic data analysis on Field Service, SCADA and/or IoT information in order to plan maintenance and determine areas of opportunities
- Point person for Field Service setup around new capital
- Understands and communicates how the various components fit and work together in order to make the equipment/system run
- Support the site with technical issues as they arise
