Maintenance Rotating Equipment Superintendent

Job Summary
Lead and manage rotating equipment maintenance across BHIG sites (JIGH, SATORP, SASREF) including planning, coordinating, and executing preventative/predictive and corrective maintenance, overhauls, and turnarounds for compressors, pumps, and related systems. Serve as SME for rotating equipment; perform root cause analysis, develop maintenance strategies, and coach technicians. Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and service providers; ensure safety, compliance with QCPs/standards; monitor vibration and process trends to improve MTBF/MTTR and reliability. Responsible for documentation, spares planning, and contributing to major PM overhauls during TARs, with leadership in safety culture, incident investigations, and continuous improvement. Must read/interpret vibration spectrums, apply alignment techniques, manage spares inventory, and generate technical reports for senior management."
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 15 years demonstrated competency in oil and gas industry on rotating equipment
- experience with reciprocating, centrifugal, screw compressors and pumps
- leadership/ supervisory experience (at least 10 years) in rotating equipment maintenance
- bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or maintenance management desirable
- Vibration level 1 and 2 certification advantageous
- proficiency in English; knowledge of local environmental and safety requirements desirable
