Job Summary
Maintain a fleet of road trains, excavators, dump trucks, graders, and dozers to ensure high levels of fleet availability. Perform economic maintenance on Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi mobile equipment, Kenworth, and Mack trucks alongside ancillary gear. Work on Project Work Sites with a 2:1 roster of days and nights in 12-hour shifts, or at the West Kalgoorlie Workshop on an 11 days on, 3 days off roster with 10-hour shifts. Hold Australian trade papers or recognition with considerable post-apprenticeship mining experience. Submit only if you have the right to work in Australia without sponsorship. Required Qualifications
- Right to work in Australia, without sponsorship
- Australian trade papers or Australian trades recognition
- Considerable post apprenticeship experience within the mining industry
- Experience maintaining Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi mobile equipment, Kenworth and Mack trucks as well as a wide range of ancillary gear
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
- Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
- Permanent, full-time employment
- 2:1 Roster, days/nights - 12hr shifts
- FIFO ex Perth/Busselton or DIDO (Bus) Kalgoorlie
- 11 days on, 3 days off roster
- 10hr shifts
