Job Summary
Maintenance Repair Technician II responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining baggage conveyor systems, their controls, and related equipment, as well as Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs). Performs scheduled and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, executes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs, and documents maintenance activities in the CMMS. Reads equipment manuals and work orders to complete tasks; completes PM and CM logs; operates related equipment such as golf carts and forklifts; supports operations by quickly addressing baggage jams. Adheres to safety programs and training to ensure reliable airport facility operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance operations
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearance
- Experience with 480V and 3-phase motors
- Intermediate to advanced skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair
- Intermediate understanding of PLC Control systems
