Job Summary
The Maintenance Repair Technician II will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain baggage conveyor and control systems and related equipment. Responsibilities include performing Preventive Maintenance inspections, dismantling and repairing equipment, maintaining baggage handling systems, and completing maintenance logs and paperwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, a valid driver license, and over three years of experience in equipment maintenance. Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills, as well as the ability to work in a multicultural environment, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver License
- 3+ years’ experience in the area of equipment maintenance and maintenance operations
- Possess mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair for baggage handling machines
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate understanding of PLC Control systems
- Familiarity with Airport operations
- Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Ability to communicate professionally to customers and fellow employees
- Ability to clearly direct, lead work tasks, and delegate assignments
Additional Requirements
- Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport
- Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays
