Job Summary
Maintenance Repair Technician on 2nd Shift responsible for tearing down, diagnosing, repairing electrical or mechanical issues, or replacing worn parts and reassembling per safety regulations. Requires understanding of PLC logic, ability to adjust equipment to specifications, and checking machine cycles for malfunctions. Must read schematics/diagrams, troubleshoot circuit boards, perform electrical tests, and report unusual findings to supervision. Duties include using judgment to follow instructions and prescribed routines, with experience in ladder logic diagrams and industrial control schematics. Local to Syracuse area; on-site manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Journeymen or three (3) years of manufacturing maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
- Experience with ladder logic circuit diagrams, industrial motor control schematics, and blueprint reading
- Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
