Job Summary
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while diagnosing mechanical and technical issues to determine the best repair approach. Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and on time, assisting in general facility upkeep including minor construction, painting, and fixture repair. Coordinate with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs and ensure all safety standards, building codes, and company policies are followed. Respond to urgent maintenance calls and troubleshoot problems quickly, adhering to a requirement of 2+ years of hands-on experience and the ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in building or equipment maintenance
- Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
