Job Summary
Lead maintenance and reliability efforts at a food-processing facility in High Point, NC. Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations; establish and promote a strong safety culture; manage schedules, training, and performance; coordinate with the Director of Engineering and outside contractors; drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs, troubleshoot equipment, interpret blueprints/specifications, monitor inventory, and contribute to KPI-driven planning and budgeting. Collaborate across departments to prioritize equipment maintenance, implement improvements, and enhance overall plant reliability using tools like OEE and RedZone. The role requires hands-on leadership, communication, and a commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a maintenance management or similar leadership role
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in topic specific to operations, engineering or maintenance
- Demonstrated experience leading change through data driven metrics and implementing maintenance programs and strategies
- Hands-on experience in planning maintenance operations
- Effective & proven communication and people management skills
