Maintenance

Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems throughout the district. Assist skilled workers with repairing woodwork, replacing electrical fixtures and motors, painting, and fixing plumbing. Inspect building exteriors, interiors, playground equipment, and grounds, then detect and report major repairs on structures and systems. Complete repairs as directed on work orders or by the maintenance director, assist with mowing and detailing grounds, and move, install, and repair school furniture and playground equipment. Follow established safety procedures, correct unsafe conditions, and maintain tools and equipment. Requires a clear and valid Texas driver's license, ability to operate hand and power tools, and frequent lifting of 45 pounds or more.
