Job Summary
Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in factories, warehouses, and production areas by inspecting equipment, testing circuits, and determining necessary upgrades or replacements. Schedule and conduct inspections, repairs, installations, and wiring of all electrical apparatus, devices, and circuits within the plant. Analyze wiring diagrams and specifications to locate failures, develop troubleshooting strategies, and install new circuits or replace faulty components such as motors, generators, and control panels. Perform splices, adjust equipment for proper operation, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and quality management systems. Requires 3-5 years of hands-on industrial electrical experience, familiarity with PLC systems, and ability to work on 24 VDC to 480 VAC systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Completion of electrician course, associate degree, or equivalent experience
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Must be familiar with PLC operating systems
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Computer skills for CMS and work order system
- Multi-meter usage and ability to work on 24 VDC, 120 VAC, 240 VAC, and 480 VAC systems
- Lockout/tagout, arc flash, fall protection, PPE, confined space training
- Valid driver's license
