Job Summary
Plan and lead maintenance projects for Magna Exteriors, including budget management, cross-functional coordination, and capital requests; develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance program for production and support equipment (e.g., Injection Moulding and Assembly equipment); drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to set departmental goals; mentor maintenance staff through training and development; ensure safety, compliance with IATF 16949 and quality systems, and support strategic planning for growth.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in a maintenance related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a related planning/leadership position in a manufacturing environment
- Experience implementing an effective preventive maintenance program
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Computer literate in word & spreadsheet programs
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems
- Awareness of 5S and IATF 16949 standards
- Ability to operate within health, safety and environmental rules
