Job Summary
Manage assigned aircraft maintenance projects by coordinating with mechanics, supervisors, and customers to ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and financial results. Establish project schedules, budgets, and goals through collaboration with the Planning Department while executing targets and reporting deviations to management. Oversee technical and critical path oversight, review man-hours, verify employee training, and maintain open daily communication with clients. Ensure all work meets FAA, EPA, and OSHA standards, maintain clean work areas, and confirm equipment and tooling safety. Participate in daily staff briefings and fulfill administrative reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Airframe & Powerplant License
- Ten (10) years of aircraft maintenance experience
- minimum of five (5) years' leadership experience
- High School diploma or G.E.D
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to interact with a wide variety of people
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong understanding of HAECO's MAJIC system
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
- Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional hangar environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Project management experience
