Job Summary
Maintenance Product Buyer coordinates procurement strategies to maintain inventory for plant repairs, places purchase orders, coordinates delivery, develops vendor relationships to drive financial success, and performs cycle counts and end-of-month reconciliation. Safety policies must be upheld at all times. Preferred qualifications include inventory control experience, ability to interpret prints, knowledge of production equipment and terminology, and extended education or experience in a technical/maintenance field.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of purchasing experience or 2 years of multi-craft maintenance experience
- Applied knowledge and practice using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word documents
- Knowledge of general purchasing and accounting practices
