Job Summary
Perform daily service and chemical testing on pools and hot tubs, including opening facilities, checking chemicals, and filling or cleaning as needed. Inspect and repair residences, commercial spaces, and restaurants based on work orders, ensuring quality repairs in a safe and efficient manner. Control material inventory by restocking supplies and maintaining organized records of time and materials used. Communicate with the supervisor and Engineering Department regarding work order progress and outstanding maintenance issues. Maintain tools in a neat, organized fashion and keep a clean, safe work area. This full-time, year-round position may require weekend schedules and involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds and working in inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge and skills of the following including the use of hand and power tools and their safe use
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to find creative solutions to problems
- Must have valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- May Have to work weekend schedules
Desired Qualifications
- Pool and hot tub knowledge is not required but helpful
- Basic construction
- Basic troubleshooting
- Use of a multimeter
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- College or technical trade school would be a plus
- Basic computer skills preferred
