Maintenance PM Mechanic I/II/III (Swing Shift)

Job Summary
Perform advanced preventive maintenance on CNC machining centers, including routine lubrication, cleaning, and backlash adjustments. Execute simple machine repair, fabrication, and welding as assigned, while inspecting equipment and recommending component replacements. Collaborate with leadership on projects and mentor other mechanics on preventative procedures. Maintain records in Cribmaster, order supplies, and ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, and DEQ regulations. Requires HazMat certification or ability to obtain it within the first year. Swing shift schedule with physical demands involving lifting up to 35 pounds and exposure to chemicals, noise, and vibration.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of related mechanical/technical work experience in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use measuring equipment including inside/outside micrometers, dial indicators, and heat monitoring guns
- Working knowledge of computers and the ability to learn new computer programs such as CMMS (CribMaster)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and troubleshoot problems when necessary
- Must also be able to interpret machine part books used in this position
- Understanding of tolerance required on production machinery
- Ability to fabricate repair parts for these machines
- Must be able to fulfill the minimum qualifications of Maintenance PM Mechanic I
- Must either hold HazMat certification or become certified within the first year of employment
- All required licensures must be maintained and kept up to date
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise maneuver up to 35 pounds with or without assistance on a routine basis
- Must have manual hand dexterity to grasp, operate tools and equipment repetitively
- Able to walk, stand, sit, bend, reach, and occasionally kneel, climb steps, and twist throughout an entire shift
- A background check and screen for the illegal use of drugs is required
- Authorized to work in the United States for US-based positions
