Job Summary
Supervise the CF Industries Planning Department by providing work direction for routine, shutdown, and project maintenance activities. Lead turnaround planning and scheduling to ensure milestones, KPIs, and safety criteria are met while managing resources and parts. Assign work activities, direct Planners, and resolve personnel issues to maintain schedule compliance and cost effectiveness. Create daily and weekly reports on schedule and cost initiatives, develop team member plans, and prepare departmental policy recommendations. Ensure all maintenance work adheres to company standards, regulatory requirements, and EHS programs through proactive safety advocacy and Job Safety Analysis participation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum H.S. diploma or GED
- Routine/PM Planning/Scheduling
- Turnaround Planning/Scheduling
- Capital Project Planning/Scheduling
- Proficient in PC software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and able to utilize computerized maintenance management software
- Excellent understanding of asset and project management
- Proficient in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Ability to perform responsibilities with limited supervision and be able to work hours dictated by the condition of the plant
- Safety conscious, self-motivated, proficient communication skills, exceptional work ethic and strong attention to detail
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, construction management, or related technical discipline is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to develop working relationships with maintenance and operations personnel in a team environment
- Proactive problem-solving approach focused on action
- Demonstrated excellent leadership skills, communication, written and verbal skills, ability in effective supervision and work organization
- Previous supervisory, team leadership, and/or turnaround planning experience is preferred
- Works in a safe manner that promotes EHS and Reliability goals of the plant and the company
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- Good knowledge of asset maintenance as well as maintenance practices and procedures
- Shows initiative and results oriented
- Ability to provide directions to and work with others to achieve the desired outcomes
