Maintenance Planning Supervisor - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Supervise a team of 1-5 employees, manage hiring and performance, and oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance for production equipment. Plan and schedule maintenance activities in SAP to maximize crew utilization, coordinate outside service requests, and ensure purchase orders are closed within budget. Respond immediately to emergency calls from production, assign personnel, and evaluate problematic systems to determine repair or installation needs. Maintain equipment records, ensure GMP compliance, and train staff on various maintenance jobs while adhering to safety procedures. Schedule coverage to prevent gaps and manage projects assigned by the maintenance manager. Work a rotating shift schedule with weekend and holiday on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Hands on maintenance experience
- Must be willing to work a changing shift schedule and on a rotating weekend on call list
- Off-shift, weekend and Holiday work may be required
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Greater than 4 hours
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in related field
- Ability to build and use maintenance library for repairs
- Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering documents, drawings, schematics
- Result-driven, problem-solving mind-set with basic experience of continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting demands and to prioritize accordingly
- Project management skills
- SAP experience
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products
- BA/BS or equivalent
- In Mechanical Engineering or related field
