Maintenance Planning and Scheduler

Job Summary

Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational activities while monitoring deadlines and resolving scheduling conflicts. Accommodate emergency work order needs by ensuring parts, materials, and equipment are available, then purchase MRO supplies, obtain vendor quotes, and process purchase orders to meet urgent maintenance requirements. Track progress, verify received materials against purchase orders, and communicate timelines to supervisors. Work independently at a desk with occasional physical lifting, supporting the Maintenance department to minimize production impacts.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of maintenance coordination, facilities, or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years in Maintenance scheduling and planning
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, facility systems, and preventive maintenance programs
  • Ability to work independently and without constant supervision
  • Good communication skills including good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain professional and respectful relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to proactively plan assigned tasks to reduce equipment downtime
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
  • Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading
  • Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer
  • The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions
  • TAS has a tobacco-free workplace policy, under which individuals are not allowed to smoke or use tobacco or nicotine products on the TAS premises, while conducting TAS business off premises or take 'smoking' breaks during working hours

Desired Qualifications

  • 3 years of CMMS Knowledge and experience
  • Experience in high-paced industrial manufacturing environments
