Job Summary
Maintenance Planner responsible for planning maintenance activities, maintaining SAP PM data, analyzing data for planning and scheduling, developing enterprise-wide best-practice preventive maintenance, reviewing and optimizing work orders for equipment history, labeling new equipment per Tyson standards, using KPIs to provide feedback to the Maintenance Manager, planning tasks with required skill and safety training, coordinating with Engineering and Operations Support, and coordinating scheduled downtime and parts availability. Requires SAP and MS Office proficiency, at least two years of in-house mechanical experience, and a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of in-house mechanical experience, including at least two (2) years in the rendering maintenance department
- Formal mechanical skills training through Tyson maintenance training
- Working knowledge of parts room procedures and policies
- Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance management is a plus
- Proficient in SAP maintenance and Microsoft Office Suite (or willing to become proficient within 90 days)
- High school or GED diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel 1-5 trips per year
- Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
