Maintenance Planner - Waterloo Pork Plant

Job Summary
Plan and schedule maintenance activities, maintain SAP PM data, analyze maintenance data for planning and scheduling, develop enterprise-wide Best Practice preventative maintenance, review and optimize PM work orders and equipment history, label and document new equipment per Tyson standards, use KPIs to provide fact-based reports to the Maintenance Manager, coordinate with engineering, Operations Support, and other departments on projects, manage maintenance shift scheduling and backlogs, plan downtime with parts availability, and ensure alignment with safety training requirements while interfacing with internal and external teams.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a high school or GED diploma
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of in-house mechanical experience, including at least two (2) years specifically in the rendering maintenance department
- Formal mechanical skills training completed through Tyson maintenance training
- Working knowledge of parts room procedures and policies
- Proficiency in SAP maintenance and Microsoft Office Suite
