Job Summary
Facilitate regular planning meetings to establish work priorities, sequence short and long-term activities, and collaborate on deadlines. Visit customer sites to monitor maintenance project progress and inspect job sites. Conduct management presentations on work order aging, schedules, and progress updates. Work with supervisors to prioritize work orders based on criticality and necessity. Use CMMS tools to update schedules, statuses, and equipment identifications. Run and distribute reports including backlog and KPI data to the management team. Assist in developing long-term milestones and project schedules while following procurement policies for vendor scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years' experience planning, scheduling, coordination in an industrial or power plant setting
- Must submit to company provided pre-employment physical exam and drug screening
- Must possess a valid driver license in good standing in order to operate a company vehicle
- Must have and maintain a driving record meeting the standards of the company
- Standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking on uneven surfaces, and grating, working from elevated platforms, scaffolding or ladders, required to lift up to and including 50 pounds and maneuver up to and including 100 pounds
- Ability to tolerate confined spaces, including manholes and varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Exposed to temperature extremes, high noise level areas, high pressure steam lines, rotating equipment, and dusty/dirty environment
- Required to wear PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical and piping systems with a high level of expertise using Maximo, the company's computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Maximo implementation experience, CAD 2000, SQL, and Oracle data base knowledge in an industrial application
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, ability to learn quickly and work under pressure with superior interpersonal skills
- Uses discretion concerning confidential and sensitive company information
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization
