Maintenance Planner - US

Job Summary
Plan daily and long-term maintenance work orders for instrumentation and electrical departments using the Work Management Information System. Prepare job packages, order non-stock parts, and specify tools and materials required for completion. Analyze technical problems, develop cost and scheduling estimates, and incorporate safety standards and codes into design practices. Maintain equipment records, update preventative maintenance programs, and monitor completion efficiency and backlogs. Coordinate shutdowns, turnarounds, and system upgrades with production, engineering, and suppliers. Assist technicians during job execution and troubleshoot plant equipment as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of college, an AA degree, or 5 years working experience as an maintenance technician in an industrial chemical setting
- Solid communication skills including the ability to effectively converse, compose written documents and interact effectively with peers and supervisors
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and decision making skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and environmental, health and safety policies/procedures
- Strong knowledge of PC software applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook and able to adapt to WMIS system and other planning tools, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Must be able to climb towers and enter confined spaces and the ability to lift 50 lbs
- Able to identify needs and opportunity and work independently to achieve goals
- Ability to provide directions to and work with others to achieve the desired outcomes
- Requires being capable of handling several projects and support activities simultaneously
- Requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Be Safety minded
