Job Summary
Own the Maintenance, Planning and Scheduling system by ensuring plant standards align with Dessert Holdings standards and utilizing the CMMS for master data standardization. Review incoming work orders to verify Safety, Material, People, Tools, When, and Where criteria are included on all job plans. Drive equipment reliability improvements by participating in daily direction meetings and focusing on top losses, while creating weekly maintenance work plans and publishing standard plant stops. Manage spare parts processes to ensure proper safety stock levels and maintain accountability for assets from cradle to grave. Document all maintenance activities within the CMMS and support the preventative maintenance program to reduce unscheduled downtime. Collaborate with the maintenance manager to set 30/90 actions for key metrics and ensure food safety and quality compliance through SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ industrial Mechanical experience
- two-year technical degree
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification
- Forklift License
- Must be willing to work overtime including weekends if necessary
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must have experience working with Master Data and CMMS systems
- Must have Mechanical and Electrical experience and understanding
- Must have experience Leading and owning RCA processes and systems
- Must have knowledge for identification of Component Failure modes and counter measure preventative maintenance tasks to prevent failure modes
- Ability to understand Total Cost of Ownership
- Ability to coach maintenance team and leaders on changes or creation to maintenance standards
- Ability to Record all maintenance work within CMMS system
- Must be able to follow all CMMS Process and Procedures
- Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish
- Must be able to read, write and speak English and Spanish
- Working Knowledge of Ovens, bakery equipment, and packaging equipment
- AIB Bakery Equipment training course
- FEMA / RCM development and implementation
