Job Summary
Develop executable work plans by identifying necessary materials, tools, permits, and labor requirements before passing tasks to scheduling. Review, organize, and prioritize work based on asset failure modes using a Risk Assessment Matrix, then develop work packages with procedures, time estimates, and material drawings. Update and adjust existing job plans and equipment data in the CMMS, ensuring safety and food safety protocols are integrated into all plans. Coordinate with purchasing to reserve materials, liaise with departments for equipment availability, and manage the ready backlog for the maintenance scheduler. Lead cross-functional weekly planning meetings, facilitate root cause analysis for repeat failures, and ensure contractor compliance through ISN.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrical or Millwright Trade qualification
- degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 3+ years of related food industry experience within maintenance role
- Experience with safe work practices, such as Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), confined spaces, job task permitting, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma training
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification
