Job Summary
Maintenance Planner role to develop detailed maintenance plans for pipeline and terminal assets (P2 to P5) including corrective, preventive, integrity, and regulatory work. Partners with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Integrity, Maintenance Engineering, and Supply Chain to convert approved work into fully planned, executable work packages ensuring safe, reliable field execution across geographically dispersed assets. Responsibilities include defining job scopes, task sequencing, labor estimates, materials, tools, permits, and contractor requirements; ensuring packages are fully planned before release to scheduling; planning and managing work orders in SAP S/4HANA and coordinating material/service provider needs; visiting work sites to assess task-level risks and continuously improve job plans and lists through feedback and field walks; involving in-line inspections, ROW, and other pipeline maintenance activities as required; location details include Cheyenne, WY and Commerce City, CO offices; typical 40-hour workweek with travel to field locations as needed; safety-sensitive role; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning or work management within pipeline, midstream, refining, or industrial operations
- Trade certificate, technical diploma, or engineering degree (or related technical discipline)
- Strong understanding of pipeline and/or fixed-plant mechanical asset classes, with experience planning and sequencing work in regulated, safety-critical environments, including labor estimation and execution planning
- Experience supporting integrity programs, regulatory maintenance, and Management of Change (MOC) activities
- Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA; experience with Fieldglass is considered an asset
- Familiarity with contractor coordination, service provider qualification, and execution support
