Job Summary
Plan, organize, and schedule maintenance tasks, plant projects, and project assignments using in-house personnel, outside contractors, or vendors. Manage the 24/7 planning and scheduling of craft personnel and maintenance work throughout the facility. Execute responsibilities including project layout and scope of work, purchasing parts from bill-of-material, developing prints, submitting contract bids for quote and award, and overseeing contracted services as a project leader. Facilitate daily work assignments and projects for maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure tasks are performed to high quality standards and in an efficient and timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance tasks, plant projects, or project assignments
- Experience managing in-house maintenance personnel
- Experience managing outside contractors or vendors
- Ability to perform project layout and scope of work definition
- Ability to purchase needed parts and/or materials from bill-of-material
- Ability to perform basic specification and design and development of prints
- Ability to submit contract bids for quote and award
- Ability to oversee project and contracted service
- Ability to act as project leader
- Experience facilitating daily work assignments and projects for maintenance personnel and contractors
- Experience ensuring tasks are performed to high quality standards
- Experience ensuring tasks are performed in an efficient and timely manner
