Maintenance Planner

Job Summary
The Maintenance Planner will efficiently plan and schedule preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks to support continuous production and minimize equipment downtime. Responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, creating work orders, coordinating production and maintenance teams, and managing spare parts and resources. The role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, and effective communication across departments and with external vendors. Additional key skills include decision-making and grasp of modern maintenance practices to enhance plant availability and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years’ supervisory/manufacturing experience.
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time (12 hours minimum).
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. continuously during shift, including twisting, turning or bending with or without product in hand.
- Ensure that maintenance activities are recorded in accordance with standards and relevant regulations.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme environmental temperatures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
