Maintenance Planner

Maintenance Planner/Scheduler develops complete job plans for corrective and preventive work, defines scope, parts, tools, labor, safety requirements, and builds weekly/daily maintenance schedules in MVP One CMMS to maximize technician wrench time and asset uptime. The role coordinates with Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain, ensures accurate BOMs and task sequences, reserves and kits parts, and embeds safety (LOTO, permits) in every plan. Leads PM/PdM program improvements, tracks work orders, and supports continuous improvement in planning quality, schedule adherence, and asset reliability. Requires formal training in maintenance planning/scheduling, reliability, or CMMS, and typically 2+ years of planning experience or 10+ years of maintenance experience; High School Diploma or equivalent required with preferred Associate or Bachelor degree in technical/engineering disciplines. Proficiency with CMMS (MVP One preferred) and intermediate MS Office skills are expected, along with strong communication and organizational abilities.
