Job Summary
Maintenance Planner at Fresno Plant coordinates, plans, and schedules all facilities maintenance activities including corrective work orders and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks; serves as gatekeeper for CMMS (EMaint, SAP/Prometheus, or similar) and oversees asset records, parts, labor, and materials; develops job plans and work packages for mechanical and I&E jobs; builds a ready-to-schedule list for technicians and subcontractors; leads coordination meetings with Operations and Maintenance to ensure equipment availability; analyzes equipment history and performance data to improve maintenance strategies; ensures work is completed on schedule with proper parts, materials, and KPI monitoring; requires experience with SAP/Prometheus/CMMS, MS Office, and strong safety awareness in a chemical manufacturing environment; interacts with internal stakeholders (Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, EHS, Finance) and external vendors to ensure proper planning.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or better
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience (preferred in chemical industry or oil & gas)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret technical documentation (work orders, drawings, manuals)
- Experience with SAP/Prometheus CMMS
- Knowledge of eMaint or similar CMMS platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Team-management and leadership skills
- Experience analyzing maintenance data (OEE, downtime, costs)
- Familiarity with maintenance operations and industrial equipment and parts
- Ability to develop job plans and work packages for mechanical and I&E jobs
- Experience coordinating turnarounds/outages and maintaining schedules
- Ability to build and maintain maintenance schedules and allocate resources
