Job Summary
The Maintenance Planner develops and maintains the weekly maintenance schedule, balancing workload with available resources, and serves as the communication bridge between production and maintenance. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining and monitoring CMMS (including CMMS and Ultimo) programs, planning and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance work, creating PM/PdM/Corrective work plans with necessary details for efficient scheduling and execution, handling purchasing per policies and 24/7 maintenance needs, staging materials, training users of CMMS concepts, conducting investigations for maintenance programs, administering documentation related to maintenance activities, assisting with budget tracking, drafting contract-related documents, operating a variety of equipment and systems, reviewing QA data, performing tests and analyses, interpreting technical drawings, and contributing to preventative/predictive plans to improve asset reliability in a complex facility.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Highly detail oriented
- Understanding and knowledge of basic mechanics
- Ability to utilize Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Considerable experience applying maintenance principles, practices, concepts and options, related to maintenance planning, scheduling, coordination and optimization
