Maintenance Planner

Job Summary
Maintenance Planner manages and coordinates scheduled aircraft maintenance using the AMOS database to monitor ATs and cycles, issue purchase requests for parts and tooling including ADs and SBs, prepare and issue work-scopes, work-packages and work-orders, produce reports, and collaborate with Quality Control, Stores, and Engineering to ensure timely compliance and availability of materials. Responsible for updating flight blocks, forecasts, and Fleet Campaign Directives, and supporting the integration of new aircraft into Kalitta Air while maintaining an auditable log of maintenance authorizations and related documents. Requires familiarity with aircraft maintenance documentation (AD/SB/EO), MAP development, and proficiency with MS Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience in large aircraft maintenance or large aircraft maintenance planning
- General knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- General knowledge of large aircraft systems and structures (Boeing 747/767/777 preferred)
- General knowledge of large aircraft manuals (e.g. AMM, CMM, IPC, MPD)
- Experience in reading and understanding Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB), and Engineering Orders (EO)
- Mechanic certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings (CFR 14, Part 65 D) preferred but not required (equivalent military knowledge acceptable)
