Job Summary
Maintenance Planner I creates maintenance plans and schedules to support plant operations, determines staffing resources, evaluates maintenance, operations, and engineering needs, and integrates planning with management. Responsible for managing long- and short-term maintenance priorities, backlog of work orders, budget tracking tools, and material requirements. Utilizes Maximo and related planning tools; collaborates with operations on hazard isolation, critical components, and repair options including repair vs. replace scenarios; oversees outage readiness and ensures planning aligns with plant objectives. Office-based role supporting maintenance planning and coordination with the maintenance manager and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in maintenance, engineering-related field, or related experience
- 2-4 years relevant experience
- Experience with Maximo, job planning, labor management, and job estimating
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
