Maintenance Planner

Job Summary
Create accurate equipment records and monitor department spending to process requisitions and purchase orders. Manage plant maintenance work orders within a computerized maintenance management system while ordering and inventorying supplies for the maintenance, blow mold, and production departments. Maintain inventory across multiple storerooms and identify trends, abnormalities, and inefficiencies through accurate record keeping and analysis. Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to company policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety, quality, and GMP rules. Provide coverage for the Maintenance Manager in their absence and attend off-site training as required.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts using calculator
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Working knowledge of a modern computer system
- Ability to type at a reasonable speed
- Familiarity with CMMS and work order systems
- Must be able to attend all job related training classes
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to talk or hear
- Must be available for off site training and meetings as needed
