Job Summary
Maintenance Planner in the Rolling Stock team responsible for planning and coordinating fleet maintenance in accordance with the transport plan and fleet maintenance compliance requirements. Role focuses on optimising availability, coordinating maintenance activities across depots, prioritising and scheduling exams, campaigns, breakdowns, and deferred work, proactively managing unplanned work with Engineering, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining effective fleet distribution. Requires 5+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience, strong planning systems experience, ability to develop short- to medium-term plans, and strong stakeholder management. Based onsite at Temple Mills Depot (Leyton), with emphasis on collaboration across depots and adherence to SLAs. French language skills are highly beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance planning role
- proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a complex operational environment (ideally rolling stock or aviation)
- strong experience with maintenance planning systems
- ability to develop and manage short- to medium-term maintenance plans
- experience coordinating workloads across multiple sites or depots
- strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- French language skills would be highly beneficial
