Maintenance Planner

Job Summary
Develop and optimize maintenance schedules to support proactive strategies, ensuring necessary parts and tools are kitted prior to work execution. Prioritize tasks based on criticality and operational impact while assigning technicians according to skill sets and availability. Coordinate with production teams to schedule activities during planned downtimes and collaborate with vendors for services. Monitor storeroom operations to maintain optimal inventory levels and track part issuance within the CMMS. Leverage CMMS data to analyze trends, generate reports, and evaluate key performance indicators like equipment downtime. Work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and reduce reactive maintenance. Ensure all activities adhere to safety regulations and participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency in CMMS software and maintenance planning methodologies
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety practices applicable to a production environment and ability to follow designated safety procedures
- Ability to maintain accurate records relating to jobs as they are planned, performed and completed
- Proficient skill level in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- some Tech School Training
- Industrial Maintenance experience
