Job Summary
Maintenance & Facilities Planner to join The Wesley Hospital’s Facilities & Asset Management team. You will plan, scheduling, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to support a safe, high-quality hospital environment. Using CMMS (MEX) you will create, prioritise and schedule work orders; maintain preventive maintenance schedules for building services, plant and equipment; collaborate with maintenance technicians, contractors, and clinical teams to minimise service disruptions; maintain asset records and compliance documentation; prepare reports and dashboards for management; analyze maintenance trends and inform asset/workload planning; support planning shutdowns, equipment upgrades, minor works and refurbishment projects; and ensure compliance with health, safety, building and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Qualification in engineering, facilities management, or a trade related field (desirable)
- Experience in maintenance planning, facilities coordination, or asset management (healthcare or large complex environments preferred)
- Proficiency in CMMS (MEX) or asset management software
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, plumbing, medical gases, etc.)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospital infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
- Desirable: Trade Certificate, OR an Advanced Diploma (related to a Trade)
