Job Summary
Own the Maintenance, Planning and Scheduling system by ensuring plant standards align with Dessert Holdings Standards and following master data standardization. Review all incoming approved work orders to verify Safety, Material, People, Tools, When, and Where (SIMPTWWI) are included on job plans. Drive improvements in equipment reliability by participating in Daily Direction setting meetings and focusing on plants' top losses. Create and publish the weekly maintenance work plan, including standard plant stops, and document all maintenance activities within the CMMS System. Accountable for spare parts processes, ensuring proper safety stock levels and alignment with maintenance strategies. Support the Preventative Maintenance program to reduce unscheduled downtime while assuring food safety and quality through SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices. Collaborate with the Maintenance manager to set 30/90 actions for key standard metrics. Requires flexible schedule, overtime including weekends, and HACCP certification.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ industrial Mechanical experience
- two-year technical degree
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification
- Forklift License
- Must be able to complete required training within 90 days of hire
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be willing to work overtime including weekends if necessary
- Proficiency in MS Office
- basic PC skills
- FEMA / RCM development and implementation
- Working Knowledge of Ovens
- Working Knowledge of bakery equipment
- Working Knowledge of packaging equipment
- AIB Bakery Equipment training course
- Must have experience working with Master Data
- Must have experience working with CMMS systems
- Must have Mechanical and Electrical experience
- Must have understanding of Mechanical and Electrical
- Must have experience Leading and owning RCA processes
- Must have experience Leading and owning RCA systems
- Must have knowledge for identification of Component Failure modes
- Must have knowledge of counter measure preventative maintenance tasks
- Must have ability to understand Total Cost of Ownership
- Must have ability to coach maintenance team
- Must have ability to coach maintenance leaders
- Must have ability to create changes to maintenance standards
- Must have ability to create maintenance standards
- Must have ability to Record all maintenance work
- Must have ability to follow all CMMS Process
- Must have ability to follow all CMMS Procedures
- Must be able to read, write and speak English, preferred if can read, write and speak English and Spanish
Desired Qualifications
- Must have experience working with Master Data and CMMS systems
- Must have Mechanical and Electrical experience and understanding
- Must have experience Leading and owning RCA processes and systems

- Ability to understand Total Cost of Ownership and ability to coach maintenance team and leaders on changes or creation to maintenance standards
