Job Summary
Own the Maintenance, Planning and Scheduling system as part of the operations leadership team, ensuring plant standards align with corporate requirements and utilizing the CMMS for master data standardization. Review incoming approved work orders to verify Safety, Material, People, Tools, When, Where, and Information (SIMPTWWI) are included on all job plans. Drive improvements in equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability by focusing on plant top losses through active participation in Daily Direction Setting meetings. Create and publish the weekly plant maintenance work plan, including standard plant stops, and document all work activity within the CMMS system. Accountable for spare parts processes, ensuring proper safety stock levels and alignment of maintenance strategies. Works collaboratively with the Maintenance manager to set 30/90 actions for key standard metrics. Requires 3+ years of industrial mechanical experience, CMMS proficiency, and HACCP certification within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years industrial mechanical experience
- minimum of a two-year technical degree
- Prior experience working with Master Data and CMMS systems
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge to identify component failure modes and counter-measure preventive maintenance tasks
- Ability to coach maintenance team and leaders or changes to or creation of maintenance standards
- Must be able to achieve HACCP certification
- complete required training for a forklift license within 90 days of hire
- Good verbal and written communication
- ability to read, write and speak in English
- Must be able to move about the plant
- stooping, bending, kneeling, and lifting as required
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as necessary
