Job Summary
Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to lead planning and scheduling of facility mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control maintenance activities including daily, outage, and long-term planning. Facilitates cross-department coordination (Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Procurement), administers work orders (researching, estimating, planning, tracking, equipment history), maintains daily/weekly schedules, ensures environmental and safety compliance, collaborates with Storekeeper, Procurement, and vendors, supports cost-control initiatives, and provides technical leadership for repairs. Proficient in CMMS systems and scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6); analyzes equipment history and predictive maintenance data to anticipate needs; drives outage planning and progress reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in the power and/or industrial plant maintenance field
- 3 years of supervisory experience in plant maintenance (preferred)
- Familiarity with computer-based work order/inventory CMMS systems, P6 scheduling software, Primavera, and Microsoft Office (proficient with Microsoft Project)
- Knowledge of NBIC & ASME codes and scheduling tools required
- Proactive self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and efficiently with strong time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to lead complex group meetings
