Job Summary

Maintenance Planner role provides maintenance planning support for the Maintenance Department, ensuring readiness for maintenance outages and proactive maintenance. Responsibilities include evaluating incoming work orders with the scheduler, completing labor and material estimating, monitoring material availability, coordinating workload with the Maintenance Supervisor, recording work order completion, structuring jobs for 4-hour maintenance blocks, establishing a preventive maintenance program, documenting PMs, scheduling PMs, analyzing processes to improve reliability, developing TPM-related processes, coordinating parts identification and purchasing, working with storeroom to control inventory, and establishing CMMS reports with monthly management summaries. Requires analytical and prioritization skills, strong customer service, cost awareness, and proficiency with Word/Excel; experience with MVP Plant, SAP, Oracle, or Maxico is preferred. Some weekend work may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Maintenance; prior experience in maintenance planning or scheduling a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with major maintenance package (MVP Plant, SAP, Oracle, Maxico)
